Elizabethton River Riders 16 – Greeneville Flyboys 3
Greeneville’s offense struggled Saturday night in Elizabethton as the Flyboys suffered their first defeat of the season, falling 16-3 to the River Riders. The Flyboys stranded 12 runners on base and finished just 1-for-14 with runners in scoring position.
Owen ten Oever was the lone Flyboy with multiple hits, going 2-for-4 while driving in a run with his third home run of the season. Bryan Williams Jr. and Levi Pinder each added an RBI and a single.
Jaden Hill took the loss on the mound, allowing six runs (three earned) on six hits in 2/3 of an inning while striking out one batter.
