Danville Otterbots 6 – Greeneville Flyboys 0
The Danville Otterbots scored four runs in the first inning and shut out the Greeneville Flyboys 6-0 on Tuesday night to complete a series sweep in Danville.
Greeneville managed just five hits in the contest, with Olin Ward and Matthew Cash accounting for four of them. Ward finished 2-for-4 with a double and a single, while Cash added a pair of singles.
Aiden VenDeHatert suffered the loss, allowing four runs on four hits over four innings of work. He struck out four and walked one.
Following a league-wide off day, the Flyboys will return to Eastman Credit Union Field at Pioneer Park for their 2026 home opener against the Pulaski River Turtles. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
