Pulaski River Turtles 9 – Greeneville Flyboys 8
Pulaski erased an early deficit and held off a late Greeneville rally to claim a 9-8 victory over the Flyboys Friday night at Eastman Credit Union Ballpark.
Owen ten Oever and Levi Pender each collected two singles and drove in a run to lead the Greeneville offense. Matt Cash added a triple, while Bryan Williams Jr. contributed a double.
Christian Menedez was charged with the loss after allowing four runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief. He surrendered three hits, struck out two, and walked one.
The Flyboys fell to 3-4 on the season and will travel to Pulaski this weekend to continue their series against the River Turtles.
