Greeneville Flyboys 10 – Johnson City Doughboys 5
Greeneville and Johnson City continued their offensive surge Wednesday night, combining for 21 hits, but the Flyboys were able to bounce back and claim game two of the series with a 10-5 victory.
Bryan Williams Jr. led the Greeneville attack, going 4-for-5 with a home run, double, and two singles while driving in four runs. Matthew Kerrigan added two singles, and Nolan Behm contributed a double and a single.
Bradley Coulter picked up the win on the mound and improved to 2-0 on the season, tossing two innings of scoreless relief while striking out three and walking two.
The Flyboys will host Johnson City on Thursday night for Military Appreciation Night at Eastman Credit Union Field at Pioneer Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
