Burlington 15 – Greeneville 4 (7-innings)
Burlington outhit Greeneville 13-5 and cruised to a 15-4, seven-inning victory in the series opener Tuesday night at Pioneer Park.
Matthew Kerrigan led the Flyboys at the plate with two singles, while Nolan Behm added a double.
Hudson Johnson suffered the loss, allowing six runs on two hits over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out three and walked five.
The two teams will continue the series Wednesday evening at Eastman Credit Union Field on the campus of Tusculum University. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
