COSBY 3, CHUCKEY-DOAK 2
Chuckey-Doak soccer team lost a District 1-A match up on the road to Cosby 3-2 on Tuesday night..
Cosby scored first, but the Lady Black Knights answered in the 30th minute when Caitlin Larsen sent a corner kick to the back post that senior Betsie Ramirez buried into the net.
The Lady Black Knights took the lead in the 48th minute with Larsen sending a pass forward to Kenley Merriam who found the net.
The lead was short lived, and 39 seconds later the Lady Eagles tied the game up. Just seconds later Cosby went up 3-2.
Chuckey-Doak keeper Sarah Yates had six saves in the loss. Chuckey-Doak had solid play from midfielders Lindsey Rojas, Brianne Bowen, and Khloe Knight.
The Lady Black Knights, 2-2 overall (0-1 in District 1-A,) travel to Pigeon Forge Thursday for another district matchup.
GREENVILLE 7, CLAIBORNE 0
The Greeneville soccer team went on the road on Tuesday and picked up a 7-0 win over Claiborne in District 2-AA action.
Peyton Vaught had two goals for the Lady Greene Devils. Andrehina Moreno had a goal and an assist. Kinsley Spradlen had a goal and an assist. Vivian Kammerdiener had a goal and an assist. Elise Rogers had a goal, Angelyn Diaz had a goal, Morgan Cassidy had two assists, and Maggie Moore had an assist.

Greeneville Wins At Link Hills
The Greeneville boys and girls golf teams collected wins on Tuesday at Link Hills against Elizabethton and Cherokee.
In the boys match Nathan Howlett and Andrew England each shot 36 to share medalist honors. Bryson Ricker and Landon Aldrige both shot shot 37 for Greeneville’s team score of 146.
Maps Gray had a 38 and Brayden Shelton a 41.
Elizabethton shot a 164 and Cherokee shot a 172.
In the girls match Kamryn Renner led Greeneville with a 36 and Kylee Renner had a 37 for a team score of 73.
Brylee Catron shot a 39.
Elizabethton shot a 92 with Callie Mosley and Chloe Rockett each shooting 46.
South Greene Wins At Pine Oaks
The South Greene boys golf team defeated West Greene and University on Tuesday at Pine Oaks Golf Course.
Kennan Hankins led the Rebels with a 38 and took home medalist honors. Cameron Kinser shot a 39, Mitchell Landers 42, and Brennan Gregg 46.
As a team South Greene shot a 165.
For West Greene Xander Crisp and Josiah Dawson each shot a 46. Seth Julian had a 49 and Noah Maxwell a 58 for the Buffaloes’ team score of 199.
University High shot a 190.
In the girls match South Greene’s Khloe Laws shot a 47. West Greene’s Katie Beth Hollingsworth had a 59. University High’s Kalani Nabalta had a 51 and Regan Trice had a 59.

GREENEVILLE 3, CHUCKEY-DOAK 0
The Greeneville volleyball team took down Chuckey-Doak on Tuesday 3-0 (27-25, 25-15, 29-27). Both teams are now 1-1 in District 1-AA play.
