South Greene senior Kinley McCaslin stepped up in a big to not only make sure her team captured the Region 1-A championship but also earned an 18th consecutive trip to the state tournament. For that she has been named Greene Sports Zone’s Texas Roadhouse Player of the Week.
In South Greene’s state sectional win against Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences she had 19 kills, nine digs, 17 serve receptions and five aces. In the Region 1-A championship game against West Greene McCaslin had 18 kills, one ace, five digs and 17 serve receptions.
