We at Greene Sports Zone are excited to introduce you to our 2025 All-Greene County Girls Basketball Team. After an amazing year on the hardwood where teams reached new heights and players earned new spots in the record books there were plenty of athletes worthy of consideration. Players were selected based on production and impact during the 2024-25 season. The team was selected by the staff of Greene Sports Zone with input from area coaches. We at Greene Sports Zone covered more Greene County basketball games than anyone else this season, we did more interviews with coaches than anyone else and we watched more film than anyone else. Because of that we feel we are most qualified to give you the best All-Greene County basketball team, so without further ado here is the All-County team.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR – Hannah Miller, North Greene
North Greene center Hannah Miller was the center of attention for every defense she faced this season and still managed to dominate her opponents on the way to a sixth straight trip to the Class 1A State Tournament. The Emory and Henry signee controlled the paint on both ends of the floor as the Lady Huskies earned 30 victories this season. She averaged 14.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
Loren Blevins, North Greene
North Greene senior Loren Blevins took her game to a new level this season and helped the Lady Huskies return to Murfreesboro for the sixth consecutive season. She was second on the team with 9.2 points per game. She also averaged 3.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
Kennedy Brown, Chuckey-Doak
Chuckey-Doak spread the ball around on offense this season, but when Kennedy Brown was getting shots to fall through iron the Lady Knights were usually winning. The senior led Chuckey-Doak by averaging 11.9 points per game. She also averaged 4.6 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.0 assists per game.
Tralyn Southerland, Chuckey-Doak
As a freshman Tralyn Southerland burst on to the scene this year, and quickly became a problem for opposing defenses as she routinely turned in double-double nights. In her first season of high school basketball Southerland averaged 10.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
Abby Adkins, Greeneville
Abby Adkins was a steady force in the paint for Greeneville this season and the senior helped the Lady Greene Devils capture the District 2-3A championship. This year Adkins averaged 12.1 points, 9. 1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game. She earned All-District and All-District Tournament honors.
Kyla Jobe, Greeneville
Kyla Jobe had to take on a new role this season, taking over the point guard duties for Greeneville. Because of her leadership and direction the Lady Devils won both the District 2-3A regular season and tournament titles. She averaged 11.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. For that she was named the District 2-3A Player of the Year.
Maria Lyde, Greeneville
Maria Lyde took big strides in her sophomore season, becoming Greeneville’s leading scorer and being named the District 2-3A Defensive Player of the Year. This season she averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.3 blocks per game.
Kortnei Bailey, South Greene
As a junior Kortnei Bailey became a dynamic scorer for South Greene this season, and despite injury setbacks she helped the Lady Rebels advance to the Region 1-2A Tournament. Bailey led South Greene with 11.6 points per game. She averaged 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.3 assists per game.
Natalie Foshie, South Greene
South Greene junior Natalie Foshie had to take on a bigger role this year when the team’s two seniors went down with injuries. She quickly became one of the Lady Rebels’ most productive players. This season Foshie averaged 9.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
Morgan Brown, West Greene
Morgan Brown was one of the top perimeter players in District 1-2A this season and had the ability score in bunches every night. This year she led the Lady Buffaloes by averaging 13.2 points per game. She grabbed 5.9 rebounds, dished 2.7 assists and swiped 2.1 steals per night as well.
Joie Shipley, West Greene
West Greene’s Joie Shipley was one of the area’s top rebounders and interior defenders this season. At times she could almost single handedly shut down the paint with her long arms and quick hands. This season Shipley averaged 10.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.6 blocks and 2.2 steals per game.
