(Game 1) Greeneville 3 – Kingport 3 (Greeneville wins Tie-Breaker)
For the second night in a row, the Flyboys and Axmen battled through seven evenly matched innings, with the Flyboys ultimately coming out on top in the tiebreaker. The Flyboys collected four singles in the game—two from Cameron Kim, and one each from Brady Francisco and AJ Diaz. On the mound, Kyle Bade and Drew Mattox combined to hold the Axmen to three runs on four hits. Bade got the start, going 4.2 innings while allowing three runs on four hits, striking out four, and walking two. Mattox closed it out, recording two strikeouts and one walk.
(Game 2) Kingsport 6 – Greeneville 5
After back-to-back tiebreaker losses, the Axmen jumped out to a 5-0 lead and held on to defeat the Greeneville Flyboys 6-5 in Game 2. Reid Haire drove in a run with a triple, while Dylan Jackson added two RBIs with a double for the Flyboys. Braxton Lewis took the loss, allowing three runs on four hits over 2.2 innings of work.
Greeneville now holds a 1.5-game lead over Kingsport in the Western Division standings and will travel to Johnson City on Thursday and Friday for a matchup with the Doughboys.
