The Tennessee Sports Writers Association announced its All-State teams for golf and cross country on Sunday and three Greeneville High School athletes were recognized.
The All-State teams for golf and cross country are selected based on finish at the state golf tournament and state cross country meet.
Greeneville’s Trey Bailey was recognized in cross country after running a blazing fast 15:12.89 on his way to winning the state championship.
In girls golf Brylee Catron and Kylee Renner helped Greeneville bring home the Class A team state championship this fall. As individual they each shot a 150 over two days and finished in a tie for fourth place, earning them All-State recognition.
