ROCK HILL, S.C. — Tusculum University sophomore goalkeeper Noe Delmotte has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending October 5, the SAC office announced Tuesday.
Delmotte helped the Pioneers earn a win and a draw in two conference matches last week, allowing a total of one goal in the two contests. Delmotte made five saves, including a key stop in the final minute, in a 2-1 win over Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday and followed up by making one save in a 0-0 draw with Mars Hill on Saturday.
The Bondues, France native has a 1.63 goals against average and a .683 save percentage while starting all eight matches for the Pioneers. Delmotte is second in the SAC with 28 saves and tied for second with two shutouts.
The Pioneers (2-5-1, 1-3-1 SAC) visit Trevecca Nazarene on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. (Eastern) from Nashville.
