The Greeneville Flyboys traveled to Danville, Virginia Monday evening and dropped their series opener to the Otterbots, 9-2, evening their season record at 2-2.
Reigning Appalachian League Player of the Week Owen ten Oever led the Flyboys at the plate with a pair of doubles, while Matthew Kerrigan doubled and drove in a run. Nolan Behm also added an RBI single.
James Wilson was tagged with the loss after allowing three runs on seven hits over three innings of work. He struck out two and walked one.
