Greeneville Flyboys 10 – Pulaski River Turtles 4
Flyboys broke open a close game with a six-run fourth inning and rolled to a 10-4 victory over the River Turtles in their home opener. The win snapped a three-game losing streak and evened Greeneville’s record at 3-3 on the season.
Levi Pinder paced the Flyboys’ offense, going 3-for-4 with three singles and an RBI. Olin Ward added a double and a single while driving in two runs.
Braxton Lewis made his second start of the season and was dominant over three innings, allowing just one hit while striking out seven. Bradley Coulter earned the win in relief, tossing two innings and recording two strikeouts.
Greeneville will host Pulaski on Friday evening at Eastman Credit Union Field at Pioneer Park in the second game of the two-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. Fans can also enjoy Margaritaville Night, with a Jimmy Buffett tribute concert following the game.
