AUSTIN, Texas — Four Tusculum University student-athletes have been named to the 2026 NCAA Division II Women’s Cross Country / Track & Field Academic All-District® 3 first team as selected by the College Sports Communicators.

Earning Academic All-District® honors are: Qitarah Castlin, Agustina Dittrich, Jesica Mbhamali and Kori Moore.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field Team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track and in the classroom.

District 3 is comprised of colleges and universities representing the South Atlantic Conference, Peach Belt Conference and Conference Carolinas. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (undergraduate and graduate) or higher and must be at least a sophomore. Nominees must have recorded an individual top-50 performance in the region based on their TFRRS performance list rankings.

Castlin, a sophomore sprinter from Griffin, Georgia, has a 3.62 GPA while majoring in sport management. She is a member of the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll, Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, Dean’s List and Charles Oliver Gray Honors List.

Castlin earned All-America honors in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4×100 relay at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championship, running the leadoff leg on the gold medal-winning 4×100. She also participated in the 60 meters and 200 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championship. Castlin took silver in both the 100 and 200 meters at the SAC Outdoor Championship and ran on the winning 4×100 relay, and at the SAC Indoor Championship she was second in the 60 meters, third in the 200 meters and a member of the first-place 4×400 relay. She is a seven-time All-Region honoree (four outdoor, three indoor).

Dittrich, a sophomore from Codoba, Argentina, has a 3.78 GPA and is majoring in psychology. She is a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, Dean’s List, Charles Oliver Gray Honors List and the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Dittrich competed in the long jump and javelin at the SAC Outdoor Championship, finishing 12th in the javelin. She had a sixth-place finish in the javelin at the Electric City Invitational with a career-best throw of 28.77 meters which ranks fourth in program history, and had a fourth-place finish in the javelin at the Blue Bear Invitational.

Mbhamali, a senior distance runner from Johannesburg, South Africa, is majoring in criminal justice and has a 3.70 GPA. She is a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, Dean’s List, SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Mbhamali ran 12th in the 800 meters at the SAC Outdoor Championship and was part of the sixth-place distance medley relay at the SAC Indoor Championship. She posted the second-fastest indoor time in the 600 meters and the fourth-best indoor 800 time during the season, then followed up in the spring by setting outdoor records in the 800 meters (2:20.46) and 3000 meters (11:08.28) while running the fourth-best time in the 1500 meters in program history.

Moore, sophomore from Jonesboro, Georgia, has a 3.58 GPA while majoring in business administration. She is a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll, Dean’s List and Charles Oliver Gray Honors List.

Moore was the 2026 SAC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Meet after winning the 60 hurdles and the 4×400 relay at the conference meet. She followed up with gold medals in the 100 hurdles and 4×100 relay and third place in the 400 hurdles at the SAC Outdoor Championship. At the NCAA Outdoor Championship, Moore was part of the national champion 4×100 relay and also had a seventh-place finish in the 100 hurdles to garner All-America honors in both events. Moore is a 10-time All-Region honoree in two seasons for Tusculum, earning All-Region seven times outdoors and three times indoors.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men’s at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 15, 2026.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-2026 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
