NEW ORLEANS, La. — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced its All-Academic Teams and All-Academic Individuals for the 2026 collegiate track & field seasons, recognizing student-athletes and programs that excelled both academically and competitively.
The Tusculum men’s team earned All-Academic honors with a 3.24 grade-point average, while the Pioneer women had a team GPA of 3.11 for head coach Robert Williams. It is the first time that the Tusculum men have received All-Academic Team honors, while the women were recognized for the first time since 2023.
Individually, All-Academic recognition from the USTFCCCA went to juniors Chazz Alexander, Lansford Cunningham and Kayvon Pickett and freshman Cedric Stewart II for the men, along with sophomores Qitarah Castlin and Kori Moore for the women.
To earn All-Academic honors from the USTFCCCA, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and finished among the top 50 individuals or top 35 relays in Division II. Teams must have cumulative GPAs of 3.0 or higher among all student-athletes to earn All-Academic Team recognition.
