Seventy-two high school from five states, including Greeneville, participated in the Volunteer Track Classic held in Knoxville this past weekend. Although the Saturday morning weather did not cooperate, and Prom attendance reduced participation. the young Greene Devils were not deterred. With 17 personal best performances and four season bests, improvement was evident in the boys’ 30th place finish.
Zaydyn Anderson’s 3rd place finish in the long jump was the highlight of the day, while Lucrease Parkey (Triple Jump) and Jacob Moore (Pole Vault) also came in with top-10 finishes. Complete results are listed below.
