GREENEVILLE, Tenn. — Five standout baseball players from Greene County have been named to the prestigious Tennessee Baseball Report (TNBR) All-Region 1 team, which honors top performers from all four classifications of Tennessee high school baseball.

Representing Class 1A is Colton Robbins of North Greene High School. Robbins showcased remarkable skills on the field this season, earning him a well-deserved spot on the team.

West Greene High School’s dynamic duo, Braden and Mason McCamey, have both been selected from Class 2A. The McCamey brothers played pivotal roles in their team’s success, with their impressive performances catching the eyes of the TNBR selectors.  West Greene’s baseball team earned several firsts this year including a District Tournament Championship and earning the first win in a Regional in program history.

In Class 3A, Greeneville High School boasts two honorees: Carson Quillen and Colton Richards. Quillen had an exceptional season, highlighted by being named a TNBR Player of the Week, a testament to his outstanding contributions and consistent excellence on the diamond. Richards also delivered a stellar season, solidifying his place among the region’s elite players.  Greeneville qualified for the TSSAA state tournament for a second consecutive year.  The defending 3A champions were defeated in the semifinals this year.

The TNBR All-Region 1 team recognizes up to 20 players from the region, celebrating their exceptional talent and achievements over the season. Greene County’s representation by five players underscores the area’s strong baseball program and its commitment to developing top-tier talent.

  • Class 1A: Colton Robbins, North Greene
  • Class 2A: Braden McCamey, West Greene; Mason McCamey, West Greene
