ROCK HILL, S.C. — Tusculum University freshman forward Addison Rishling has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 20, the SAC office announced Tuesday.
Rishling recorded two goals in back-to-back matches against Emory & Henry and Limestone, scoring both goals in the second half in each game to rally the Pioneers from a 1-0 deficit.
On Wednesday, Rishling scored in the 61st and 88th minutes to boost the Pioneers to a 2-1 win, and then scored in the 73rd and 76th minutes to give Tusculum a 2-1 lead at Limestone on Sunday.
The Wonder Lake, Illinois native leads the Pioneers and ranks fourth in the SAC in goals with six, and is tied for eighth in the conference with a team-best 12 points. She leads the team with 12 shots on goal.
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Coker, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
