GREENEVILLE, Tenn. — Tusculum University sophomore center Ni’Kiah Chesterfield has been named second-team All-South Atlantic Conference in women’s basketball for the 2024-25 season, the SAC office announced Monday.
Chesterfield led the SAC in scoring at 18.6 points per game and averaged 6.3 rebounds per game for the Pioneers, scoring in double figures 25 times with 11 games of 20 points or more. The 6-footer from Murfreesboro, Tennessee was sixth in the conference in field goal percentage at 54.2 percent, 12th in foul shooting at 76.8 percent and seventh in blocked shots at 1.3 per game.
Chesterfield scored a season-high 34 points against USC Aiken on Nov. 16 and had a streak of three straight 20-point games from Jan. 29 through Feb. 5.
A member of the SAC All-Freshman team in 2023-24, Chesterfield is averaging 15.6 points and 6.0 rebounds in two seasons at Tusculum, with 845 points in 54 games for the Pioneers on 52.9 percent shooting from the field.
Tusculum finished 9-19 overall and 7-17 in the South Atlantic Conference this season, a six-game improvement from the 2023-24 campaign.
