The Greeneville Flyboys, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Greeneville & Greene County, hosted their annual skills clinic Saturday morning at Pioneer Park. According to Scott Bullington, Director of the Boys & Girls Club, this event began in 2004 and has been held in collaboration with the Greeneville Astros, Reds, and now the Flyboys.
Each participant received a sponsor t-shirt and a Flyboys ticket voucher before engaging in a variety of baseball skill-building activities. These included throwing, catching, infield and outfield drills, bunting, pitching, and base running.
Following the clinic, players from the Flyboys held an autograph session with participants before everyone enjoyed a pizza lunch.
