The Chuckey-Doak Middle School football team hit the practice field Wednesday afternoon under new leadership but with the same high expectations.
First-year head coach Nick Quillen led the squad through drills at CDMS as the Black Knights look to defend their conference crown for a third straight season. With a mix of returning talent and fresh faces, Quillen said he’s excited to carry on the program’s winning tradition.
Anchoring the defense is standout lineman Skyler Nelson, whose size and intensity have already made him a leader on the field.
With the season fast approaching, Chuckey-Doak Middle is focused, hungry, and ready to make another championship run.
