Saint James AL 6, Greeneville 2
Competing in a tournament in Gulf Shores, Alabama the Greeneville softball team fell to Saint James, Alabama 6-2 on Monday afternoon.
The Lady Greene Devils earned five hits in the loss. Brynlee Jones was 1-for-1 with a home run and two RBIs. Brooke Parsley had a triple while Gabby Atchison was 2-for-2.
Jones took the loss in the circle. In four innings she struck out four, walked eight and allowed two hits.
Soddy Daisy 13, Greeneville 6
In its second game of the day in Alabama the Greeneville softball team fell to Soddy Daisy 13-6.
Greeneville earned seven hits in the loss. Brynlee Jones was 2-for-2 with two triples and two RBIs. Gaby Atchison was 2-for-2. Kaley Garland had a double and two runs scored. Kinslee Lewandowski and Brylee Tullock each had RBI singles.
In the circle Jamie Jackson took the loss. In 1.1 innings she walked seven, and allowed five hits. Jones threw 1.2 innings with three strikeouts, one walk and no hits allowed.
