Tusculum Golf Finishes 12th At Hargett Memorial

MONROE, N.C. — The Tusculum University men’s golf team finished 12^th at the 2026 Ralph Hargett Memorial Tournament which was held at Rolling Hills Country Club. The two-day, 54-hole tournament was held at the par-72, 6,818-yard layout and hosted by Wingate University.

The Pioneers carded a 54-hole score of 894 including back-to-back rounds of 297 to close out the tournament.

Host Wingate, the fifth-ranked team in NCAA Division II, led wire-to-wire as the Bulldogs finished with a 26-under par total of 838, winning by 10 strokes over runner-up Emmanuel (848). Catawba finished third with a 12-under par score of 852, followed by Wingate B (866), Erskine (869), Anderson (874), Lenoir-Rhyne (875), Carson-Newman (878), Ferris State (878), Montevallo (889), Coker (893), Tusculum (894), North Greenville (897), Belmont Abbey (901), Young Harris (905), Newberry (905) and Belmont Abbey B (906).

Emmanuel’s Gabriel Hull claimed the individual medal with an 11-under par score of 65-70-70=205, winning by three shots over teammate Lukas Lautrup-Nissen (69-70-69=208).

The Tusculum duo of Buster O’Callaghan and Ed Linley tied for 44^th place. O’Callaghan posted rounds of 76-71-77=224, while Linley tallied 74-75-75=224. Harrison Price shot 75-78-73=226 to tie for 57, while Fraser Laird (79-76-72=227) and George Evans (75-75-77=227) tied for 61^st.

The Pioneers will wrap up the regular season next week (Mar. 23-24) as they compete at the Tennessee River Rumble in Lenoir City, Tennessee.
