Greeneville 10, East Robertson 2
Playing in a tournament in Gulf Shores, Alabama the Greeneville softball team earned a 10-2 win over East Robertson on Tuesday.
The Lady Greene Devils pounded 13 hits in the win. Katie Johnson led that effort by going 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Brylee Tullock had a home run and three RBIs. Kaley Garland was 2-for-4 with a double, and Brynlee Jones was 2-for-3 with a double.
In the circle Jamie Jackson threw five innings with four strikeouts, one walk and seven hits allowed.
Greeneville 3, Sipsey Valley, Al 3
In its second game of the day the Greeneville softball team tied Sipsey Valley, Alabama 3-3.
Greeneville’s offense produced eight hits in the win. Brynlee Jones was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Baylee Ramsey also had a double. Kaley Garland, Brylee Tullock, Gabby Atchison, Kinslee Lewandowski and Katie Johnson all had singles.
In the circle Jones threw five innings with six strikeouts, two walks and three hits allowed.
