It took no time for North Greene’s Josie Graham to make the transition from basketball to softball, and after a hot start to the softball season she has been named the Greene Sports Zone Player of the Week.
Graham started her week by going 2-for-4 at the plate against Morristown East. She got an 11-run fifth inning started with a leadoff home run, and added two RBIs and two runs scored. She also made five defensive outs, flashing some impressive leather at shortstop. On Saturday against Elizabethton she went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a stolen base.
