Johnson City 13 – Greeneville 5
Johnson City erupted for 12 hits and cruised to a 13-5 win over Greeneville on Wednesday night at Pioneer Park. The Flyboys were limited to just four hits, two of which came from Ezra McNaughton, the Appalachian League Player of the Month for June.
The BYU freshman launched a solo home run in the fourth inning and added an RBI single in the sixth, bringing his season total to 26 RBIs.
The Flyboys will wrap up the series against the Doughboys on Thursday night in Johnson City before returning home to Pioneer Park on Friday to open a three-game series against Bluefield.
