Buddy Hawk Classic Roundup

North Greene 8, West Washington, (IN) 0

The North Greene baseball team picked up an 8-0 win over West Washington, Indiana on Friday in the Buddy Hawk Classic.

The Huskies pounded out 10 hits in the victory. Isaac Halley went 3-for-3 with two runs scored. Christian Cogdill was 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Isaac Gaby went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Tyler Britton had a double and two RBIs.

On the mound Aidan Halley tossed a complete-game shutout. He struck out three, walked on and scattered seven hits.

Morristown East 11, North Greene 1

On Saturday in the Buddy Hawk Classic the North Greene baseball team fell to Morristown East 11-1.

The Huskies were held to four hits. Isaac Gaby went 2-for-3 with a double. Tyler Britton had a double and Christian Cogdill had a single.

On the mound Britton threw six innings with three strikeouts, two walks and 10 hits allowed.

Chuckey-Doak 12, Hampton 2

On Saturday the Chuckey-Doak baseball team took down Hampton 12-2 in the Buddy Hawk Classic.

The Black Knights got 12 hits from seven different batters. Kiptyn Ball was 4-for-4 with a double, four RBIs and three runs scored. Cooper Seay was 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Dom Atchison, Lynkin Cutshaw and Shane Cook all had doubles.

On the mound Mason Henderson threw 2.2 innings with no strikeouts, four walks and one hit allowed. Braxton Lowe earned the win in relief. In one inning he had no walks, no hits and no strikeouts.

Knox Central (KY) 12, West Greene 3

On Friday the West Greene baseball team fell to Knox Central, Kentucky 12-3 in the Buddy Hawk Classic.

The Buffaloes were held to five hits in the loss. Brandon Hunter had a double and two RBIs. Aidan Willett had a double and an RBI.

Ethan Carpenter took the loss. In 1.1 innings he struck out two, walked two and allowed five hits.

Daniel Boone 12, West Greene 1

The West Greene baseball lost to Daniel Boone 12-1 on Friday in the Buddy Hawk Classic.

The Buffaloes managed just two hits. Aidan Willett had a solo home run, and Christian Hunter had a single.

In 3.2 relief innings Jayden Cox struck out six, walked four and allowed three hits.

Knox Central (KY) 17, South Greene 3

In the Buddy Hawk Classic on Saturday the South Greene baseball team fell to Knox Central (KY) 17-3.

The Rebels earned five hits in the loss. Cameron Kinser was 2-for-2 with an RBI. Colten Fillers had two RBIs. Landon Murdock was 2-for-2, and Zach Mason was 1-for-2.

Dawson Ripley took the loss. In 1.1 innings he struck out one, walked four and allowed four hits.

Greeneville 11, Morristown East 1

On Friday in the Buddy Hawk Classic the Greeneville baseball team took down Morristown East 11-1.

The Greene Devils used eight hits to score their 11 runs. Will Harmon was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs. Kaine Ricker was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Sam Thompson had a triple and two RBIs. Tegan Begley had a double. Kase Spradlen had three RBIs, and Grayson Crosby had two RBIs.

On the mound Jaxon Winter threw five innings with five strikeouts, two walks and two hits allowed.
