Greeneville traveled to Northview on Monday afternoon, but it was all Cougars as they claimed the conference bowling matchup 23-4.
Northview jumped out to a commanding 7-1 lead after the first game behind Brodie Hunt’s 185 and Andrew Stephens’ 168. Greeneville’s lone point came from Jon Gilbert, who rolled a 159.
The Greene Devils tried to claw their way back in the second game, splitting the individual points thanks to a 235 from Aadin Sandidge, a 185 from Gilbert, and a 156 from Evan Litchfield. However, Northview’s Abigail Terry fired a 217 to help the Cougars post a 1,025 pinfall and stretch the lead to 12-4.
Northview sealed the match by taking both Baker games, 219–119 and 153–132.
Greeneville, now 3–8 overall and 2–3 in conference play, will return home Wednesday afternoon to host Dobyns-Bennett at The Alley in a non-conference matchup starting at 4:15.
