Former Greeneville High School standout Adjatay Dabbs made his debut in FBS football on Friday night with the Toledo Rockets.
Dabbs and the Rockets came close to upsetting the Big Ten Michigan State Spartans on the road, but fell 20-10.
In the loss Dabbs led the Rockets with four catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns. He got his day started with a 60-yard touchdown grab and finished with a six-yard touchdown catch that made it 19-14 in the third quarter.
Dabbs transferred to Toledo from Mercer in the offseason. He spent two years at the Southern Conference program and was named First Team All-SoCon in 2025 before following head coach Mike Jacobs to the Rockets.
