Greeneville’s soccer program has always been known to play a tough regular season so they will be prepared for the grind that comes with post season. This year was no different. After going 7-10-1 during the regular season, they would finish winning seven games in the post season before falling to South Doyle 2-1 in the class 2A championship game.
Four seniors would reap the rewards of this challenging schedule along with their consistent play. Austin Beets, David Fisher, Tanner Myers, and Connor Stayton were named to the Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches’ Association All-State team.
