The North Greene baseball team improved to 6-0 in District 1-1A play on Wednesday afternoon after taking down Unaka 10-0.
The Huskies set the tone early with a four-run first inning that included five stolen bases. Isaac Gaby, Christian Cogdill and Aidan Halley all had RBI singles in the frame.
In total North Greene stole 10 bases on Wednesday while also earning eight hits. Tyler Britton was 2-for-2 with two walks, two RBIs and two runs scored. Isaac Gaby went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Brady Malone had a double. Jake Duffy stole three bases and scored two runs.
Duffy earned the win on the mound in a five-inning complete game. He struck out three, walked two and allowed two hits. He had a no-hitter going through 3 2/3 innings.
The Huskies will be back in action on Thursday in the Buddy Hawk Classic with a double header at home. They will play Hampton at 5 p.m. and Cocke at 7 p.m.
