South Greene 38, West Greene 0
The Rebels and Buffaloes battled in the Mini Milk Can Game on Thursday and South Greene kept the streak alive and captured the can in a 38-0 shutout win.
South Greene’s defense was strong and pitched a shutout and held West Greene to only 54 yards. Carsen Susong led with 6 tackles. Brayson Hope had 5 tackles and a fumble recovery and Avan Park had 4 tackles and a forced fumble.
The Rebels dominated on offense with 319 total yards. Jamie Devera had 5 carries for 103 yards and 2 touchdowns. Braevyn Myers had 5 carries for 102 yards and a touchdown. Kaden Reaves had 2 receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown. Keaton Dyer was 2-for-3 with 26 yards and a touchdown, rushed once for 9 yards, and caught a 35-yard touchdown. Jaxson Merriam was 2-for-3 with 36 yards and a touchdown.
John Solomon had 5 carries for 18 yards, Abel Moreno had 2 carries for 10 yards. Jesse Cobble had 3 catches for 15 yards. Lee’Am Broillet had a fumble recovery and return for 35 yards.
South Greene improved to 6-1 and will host Rogersville City School on 8th Grade Night next Thursday.
West Greene falls to 0-6 with the loss and host Chuckey-Doak next Thursday for 8th Grade Night.
Greeneville 26, Sevier 16
Greeneville picked up a 26-16 win on the road against Sevier.
Easton Ricker was 5-for-9 for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jett Williams had 3 receptions for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns. Drake Richard had 6 rushes for 146 yards and an 82-yard touchdown. Alijah Goode had 5 rushes for 22 yards and a touchdown.
The Greene Devils host Tennessee Middle at home next Thursday night for 8th Grade Night.
Sullivan Heights 44, Chuckey-Doak 8
The Black Knights fell at home, 44-8, hosting Sullivan Heights on Thursday.
Chuckey-Doak travels to play West Greene next Thursday night.

The Huskies dropped another game on Thursday night with a 44-0 loss to Surgoinsville.
