GREENEVILLE, Tenn. — The Tusculum University women’s golf team posted a final round 312 as the Pioneers rallied to win the 26th annual Agnes McAmis Memorial Tuesday at Link Hills Country Club.

Tusculum posted a two-day total 640 and win by 14 shots over runner-up King University, as the Tornado posted back-to-back scores of 327 to finish with 654.

Tusculum wins the McAmis Memorial for a ninth time since the inaugural event in 1998. TU has won this tournament in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2012, 2013, 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2024.

King’s Julianna Go claimed medalist honors with her 76-75=151 to win by five shots over the Tusculum duo of Reagan Padilla and Lindsay Self, who each posted 156 over the 36-hole tournament. Padilla matched Go’s final round 75, while Self carded a career-low 76 in her final round. Marina Noti of Davis & Elkins finished fourth with 77-80=157, while Lucy Wiegert of Young Harris shot 79-80=159 to finish fifth and round out the All-Tournament team.

Padilla records her sixth top-five finish of the season and the seventh of her TU career which are tied for the eighth most in program history.

Midway University finished third with 672, followed by Young Harris (676), Mars Hill (677) and UVA Wise (698).

TU’s Anna Ahonen tied for sixth place honors with 84-76=160 and Adrienne O’Brien placed 29th with 90-89=179. Tusculum freshman Lindy Carter, playing as an individual competitor, finished 23rd with 86-88=174.

Tusculum returns to action next week (Mar. 25-26) as they compete at the Lady Bearcat Invitational in Greenwood, South Carolina.
