The Greeneville girls golf team won the Carter County Bank Classic on Wednesday.
Kamryn Renner shot a 74 to take home medalist honors and Kylee Renner shot a 80 for the Lady Devils team score of 154.
Tennessee High was second with a 157 while Science Hill and Dobyns-Bennett each shot 163.
The Greeneville boys shot a 303 to finish in second place. Bryson Ricker led the way with a 73 and was second overall as an individual. Nathan Howlett shot a 74 and was fifth overall. Andrew England had a 76 and Maps Gray shot an 80.
Science Hill claimed the team title with a score of 300. Ben Vandergriff and Linfan Li each had a 73 for the Hilltoppers.
Dobyns-Bennett’s Jake Fowler claimed medalist honors by shooting a 71.
VOLLEYBALL
South Greene 3, North Greene 1
The South Greene volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win over North Greene on Wednesday, 25-15, 25-20, 21-25, 25-12. South Greene is now 2-0 in District 1-A play and North Greene is 0-1.
