District 1-AA
The Three Rivers Conference tournament will get underway Monday, May 6th, with all games slated to start at 5:00. Chuckey Doak (#3 seed) will host Hampton (#6 seed), while West Greene (#4 seed) will host Happy Valley.
The West Greene/Hampton winner will travel to South Greene (#1 seed), while the Chuckey Doak/Hampton winner will visit Johnson County (#2 seed). These games will be played on Tuesday, May 7th.
The finals are scheduled for Thursday, May 9th at the highest seeded team. A complete bracket is listed below.
District 2-AAA
The Twin Lakes Athletic Conference got underway last night with a play-in game between Claiborne and Cherokee. Claiborne came away with the win and will advance into double elimination play.
Games will continue on Friday (May 3rd) with Grainger (#1 seed) taking on Claiborne (#4 seed) at 5:30 followed by Greeneville (#2 seed) taking on Volunteer (#3 seed) at 7:30.
After taking the weekend off, teams will return to Claiborne on Monday for the winner’s bracket finals at 5:30, followed by an elimination game at 7:30. The finals of the tournament are scheduled for Wednesday (May 8th) at 5:30. A complete bracket is listed below.
District 1-A
The Watauga Valley Conference will begin their double elimination tournament on Monday (May 6th) with two games being played at Unaka. North Greene, the number 1 seed will open the tournament at 5:00 when they meet up with the number 4 seed, University High Jr. Bucs. At 7:00, Cloudland, the number 2 seed, will play Unaka, who is the 3 seed.
Teams will return on Tuesday with an elimination game scheduled for 6 and the winner’s bracket finals set for 8. The finals of the tournament are set Thursday evening at 5:00. A complete schedule is listed below.
