AMHERST, Va. – Due to inclement weather at Poplar Grove Golf Club Tuesday afternoon, round three play at the NCAA Amherst Regional has been suspended and will resume at 7:30am ET Wednesday morning.
The Vols are currently in second place at 2-under overall and have approximately 10 holes each.
Josh Hill is through six holes in the final round and sits 1-under overall in eighth place.
Freshman Jackson Herrington is inside the top 20 at 1-over in total and 3-over in round three.
Christian Pardue, who shot the best score in round one for the Vols, is even-par in the third round and tied for 21st at 2-over overall.
Redshirt junior Lance Simpson is inside the top 10 at 2-over in round three and 3-over in total.
Tennessee’s final golfer, Bruce Murphy, is currently tied for 42nd.
