Baseball:
West Greene 15 – Unaka 0
The Buffaloes racked up 13 hits and scored in every inning to secure a decisive win over the Rangers. Brandon Hunter led the offensive charge with two doubles, a single, and three RBIs. Conner Campbell and Jhonen Bath each contributed three singles.
On the mound, Ethan Carpenter earned the win, throwing three innings of one-hit ball while striking out five.
North Greene 7 – Gatlinburg Pittman 4
The Huskies gave up three runs to the Highlanders in the third inning but responded with four runs in their half of the inning and added three more in the fourth to complete the comeback victory.
Isaac Gaby led the offense with a triple and a single, driving in two runs. Brady Malone pitched a complete game, allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits, five walks, and seven strikeouts to secure the win.
Softball:
Grainger 18 – Greeneville 10
The Lady Greene Devils jumped to a 3-1 lead in the first inning but found themselves tied 7-7 after three. From there, the Lady Griz took control, securing the conference victory. Kyla Jobe led the offense with three RBIs on two doubles and a single, while Brynlee Jones also drove in three with a triple and two singles. Kaylee Garland contributed with three singles for the Lady Devils.
