Tusculum’s Winnesjo Finishes 13th at Currahee Invitational

TOCCOA, Ga. — Tusculum University’s Max Winnersjo posted an even par score of 216 to finish tied for 13^th place at the 2026 Anderson / Erskine Currahee Invitational.

The Pioneers finished 11^th in the team competition with a 54-hole aggregate score of 887.

Winnersjo finished the tournament with a two-under par round of 70 on Tuesday which moved him 19 spots up the leaderboard to 13^th place. His final round included four birdies, two bogeys and 12 pars as he carded his fourth round in red numbers this season.

Ed Linley tied for 27^th place with 72-73-75=220, while George Evans tied for 41^st with 71-74-79=224. Harrison Price placed 50^th with 74-76-77=227 and Filip Jarheden rounded out the team scoring with 75-79-81=235 to finish 62^nd. Matthew Hogan, playing as an individual competitor, tied for 50^th with 74-76-77=227.

USC Aiken won the team title with an 11-under par team score of 853, three shots ahead of runner-up Erskine (856).

Tusculum returns to action next week (Oct. 12-13) when they host the Bob Dibble Memorial at Graysburg Hills Golf Course.
