The Radio Greeneville schedule for week two of the high school football season will feature two games tonight including Greeneville and Chuckey-Doak.
The Greeneville Greene Devils (1-0) will make the trip to Kingsport to battle an old rival as they face off with Dobyns-Bennett (0-1) from J. Fred Johnson Stadium in the Gateway Ford/Nissan Greeneville Game of the Week. The Indians lead the all-time series 31-9 and have won 17 of 21 at home against the Greene Devils, but Greeneville has had Dobyns-Bennett’s number lately winning the last five meetings in the series.
Greeneville at Dobyns-Bennett begins with the Friday Night Scoreboard Show at 6:15 p.m. with live coverage from Kingsport at 7:00 p.m. and kickoff tonight at 7:35 p.m. with radio coverage on 99.5 FM WGRV, Comcast Channel 18, and WGRV.com. The Gateway Ford/Nissan Greene County Game of the Week will feature the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights as they welcome the Grizzlies from Grainger High School to Lower Afton.
Both teams are fresh off week one wins including the Black Knights (1-0) defeating Unaka 54-18 while the Grizzlies took down Claiborne 20-12. Grainger has won five of the last six meetings as the Black Knights snapped the Grainger winning streak against them last season with a big 56-30 win in Rutledge.
