We at Greene Sports Zone are excited to introduce you to our 2025 All-Greene County Softball Team. After an amazing year on the diamond where teams reached new heights and players earned new spots in the record books there were plenty of athletes worthy of consideration.
Players were selected based on production and impact during the 2025 season. The team was selected by the staff of Greene Sports Zone with input from area coaches. We at Greene Sports Zone covered more Greene County softball than anyone else this season, we did more interviews with coaches than anyone else and we feel we have a greater understanding of the game than any competing outlet. Because of that we feel we are most qualified to give you the best All-Greene County Softball Team, so without further ado here is the All-County team.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR – Kyla Jobe, Greeneville
It should come as no surprise that Greeneville’s Kyla Jobe was selected as the Greene Sports Zone Player of the Year after she put up some truly eye-popping numbers in her senior season.
Jobe led the county in almost every statistical category including a jaw-dropping .631 batting average to go with a .694 on-base percentage. She had a county best 65 hits, 59 runs scored and 42 RBIs. Jobe pounded 26 extra-base hits with 12 doubles, six triples and eight home runs. She was also 24-of-24 on steal attempts. To go with that Jobe only struck out four times in 124 plate appearances.
On defense Jobe had a 94.7 fielding percentage at shortstop while making 108 put outs with eight double plays.
Saniah Atchison, Chuckey-Doak
Chuckey-Doak’s Saniah Atchison had a tremendous senior season that helped the Lady Black Knights reach the Region 1-2A Tournament. Atchison hit .525 with a .600 on base percentage. She had 10 doubles, three triples, two home runs, 22 runs scored and 19 RBIs. She stole a county best 27 bases.
Kaley Garland, Greeneville
Greeneville junior Kaley Garland’s slight build did not stop her from becoming one of the area’s top power hitters this season. She led the county with 11 home runs, and added five triples and 11 doubles. She scored 51 runs and drove in 40 runs from her leadoff spot. Garland turned in a .460 batting average and .530 on-base percentage this year. She struck out just nine times in 133 plate appearances.
Brynlee Jones, Greeneville
Brynlee Jones became a crucial piece to Greeneville’s offense and defense this season. At the plate she hit .423 with a .496 on-base percentage. She had 41 hits with 11 doubles, two triples and three home runs. Jones drove in 32 runs and scored 39 runs.
In the circle Jones was Greeneville’s top arm. She struck out 134, walked 82 and allowed 127 hits. She threw 109.1 innings with a 5.1 ERA
Destani Bailey, Greeneville
In her senior season Destani Bailey became a full-time starter for the first time and established herself as one of Greeneville’s top bats as well as a solid first baseman. She hit .398 with a .483 on-base percentage. Bailey had 39 hits with eight doubles and a home run. She drove in 42 runs which tied Jobe for the county lead.
Hannah Brooks, North Greene
Behind the arm of Hannah Brooks the North Greene softball team was able to make a run to the Class 1A State Tournament. She threw 104.1 innings while going 15-5. She struck out 120 batters, walked just 38 and allowed 100 hits while earning a 3.01 ERA.
At the plate Brooks led North Greene with a .404 batting average to go with a .440 on-base percentage. She had six doubles and two home runs as well as 38 RBIs.
Loren Blevins, North Greene
On a North Greene team that started six freshman Loren Blevins became the senior leader. The utility player hit .370 with a .414 on-base percentage. She had 37 hits with seven doubles four triples and three home runs. Her versatility at the plate made her an asset in the number two spot of the lineup as she was just as comfortable laying down a bunt as she was sending a line drive into the gap. Blevins finished with 34 RBIs and 34 runs scored. She stole 19 bases.
Matti Phillips, North Greene
North Greene junior Matti Phillips played big roles for the Lady Huskies on offense, defense and in the circle. At the plate she hit .364 with a .482 on-base percentage. She had 11 doubles, three triples and two homes to go with 33 RBIs and 42 runs scored. Phillips stole 23 bases.
From the circle she threw 42.2 innings with 25 strikeouts, 27 walks and 77 hits allowed. As a middle infielder Phillips had a 92.5 fielding percentage with 96 put outs.
Josie Graham, North Greene
North Greene’s Josie Graham burst on to the scene as a freshman and instantly became one of the area’s top players. She hit .389 with a .491 on-base percentage. She had seven doubles, four triples and four homes runs. Graham drove in 31 runs and scored 34 runs.
Playing catcher Graham caught half of the runners that tried to steal on her, and at shortstop she had a 91.9 fielding percentage.
Kinlea Eastep, North Greene
As a freshman Kinlea Eastep established herself as North Greene’s leadoff batter and centerfielder. She hit .385 with a team best .504 on-base percentage. Eastep had 35 hits with five triples and four home runs. From the top spot in the lineup she scored 50 runs and drove in 19 runs. She led the Lady Huskies with 24 stolen bases.
Madison Hensley, South Greene
Madison Hensley had a terrific senior season at South Greene as she led the Lady Rebels with a .588 batting average while turning in a mind boggling .720 on-base percentage. From her leadoff spot Hensley had 30 hits and scored 39 runs. She drove in 14 runs with three doubles and three triples. Hensley stole 23 bases.
Kortnei Bailey, South Greene
Kortnei Bailey was a big reason why South Greene captured the District 1-2A regular season and tournament championship. She hit .458 with a .579 on-base percentage. She had nine doubles, a triple and three home runs to go with 34 RBIs and 38 runs scored.
As a pitcher Bailey threw 85.2 innings with a 14-5 record. She struck out 84, walked 58 and allowed 79 hits with 3.67 ERA.
Whitney Reaves, South Greene
Whitney Reaves became one of the most important pieces in South Greene’s lineup this season as she hit .491 with a .613 on-base percentage. She had nine doubles, 36 runs scored and 24 RBIs. She led the Lady Rebels with 24 stolen bases on 25 attempts.
Paisley Brobeck, South Greene
Junior Paisley Brobeck was another dangerous piece in South Greene’s lineup this season. She hit .433 with a .553 on-base percentage. Brobeck had 26 hits with six doubles, three triples and three home runs. She drove in 39 runs and scored 27 runs. Playing 90.2 innings at catcher she had just three passed balls and caught 15 runners attempting to steal.
Morgan Brown, West Greene
Senior Morgan Brown led West Greene in a variety of ways this season. She hit .453 with a .571 on-base percentage. Brown had nine doubles, one triple and two home runs. She scored 31 runs and had 17 RBIs.
In the circle she threw 76.2 innings with a 9-3 record. She had 41 strikeouts, 50 walks and 117 hits allowed with a 5.29 ERA.
