The fourth annual Roots Awards were held Thursday evening in the auditorium at Chuckey Doak High School. Nominees were selected for their statistical accomplishments and their contributions to their team. The thirty groups of nominees were presented by Dalton Lamb, founder and CEO of Grass Roots Media, and the winners were announced. The winners were presented plaques for their selection.

Brian Stayton, from Radio Greeneville Sports, gave the closing remarks and thanked everyone for their support of athletics across Greeneville/Greene County and asked for continued support as they moved forward as Greene Sports Zone.
