GREENSBORO, N.C. — For an eighth consecutive year, the Tusculum University baseball program has been recognized as a recipient of the American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack.
The Pioneers accounted for a team cumulative grade point average of 3.29 and was one of six South Atlantic Conference teams and one of 91 NCAA Division II programs to be honored.
The ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award highlights programs coached by ABCA members that posted a team GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
