GULF SHORES, Ala. — The Tusculum University women’s beach volleyball team finished out the 2026 season with a win in the Copper Bracket at the AVCA Small College Beach Championships on Sunday (Apr. 19).
Tusculum finishes the year with a 13-23 record.
Match 1: No. 16 Catawba 3, No. 13 Tusculum 0
In the fourth meeting of the season, the Catawba Indians claimed their first victory.
The final three slots were the flights of record.
The 3’s of Jordyn Anderson and Solene Roussel dropped a 22-20, 21-20 decision.
At No. 4, Cooper George and Dasha Nikolaeva fell 21-17, 21-15.
Siri Aasgard and Ally Doty finished with a 21-19, 21-15 result.
Match 2: No. 13 Tusculum 3, No. 10 Erskine 0
The Pioneers finished out the weekend and the season with a sweep of the Flying Fleet.
At No. 2, Sylvia Liszewski and Brynn Smith downed their opposites by scores of 21-18, 21-10.
George and Nikolaeva held on for a 21-14, 23-21 victory at No. 4.
The 5’s of Aasgard and Doty rounded out the score with a 21-15, 21-11 decision.
