Flyboys’ starting pitcher Kellen Klosterman delivered a stellar performance in Bluefield, striking out nine while allowing just one hit and two walks over five innings. However, the Flyboys couldn’t capitalize offensively and fell short, losing 3–2. Dylan Jackson recorded a double, while Brandon Inge, Ezra McNaughton, and Layne Akers each added a single.
