The Chuckey-Doak volleyball team picked up a pair of wins on Monday at Cocke County in a tri-match with the Lady Red and South Greene.
The day started with the Lady Black Knights taking down Cocke County 2-0, 25-14, 25-7. Chuckey-Doak then beat South Greene 2-0, 25-22, 25-20.
Jacey Taylor led the Lady Knights with 14 kills, while Addy Pruitt had 22 assists and four kills. Carlene Bishop had eight kills, and Chloe Kirkpatrick had 11 assists.
In the final game of the evening South Greene defeated Cocke County 2-0, 25-16, 25-19.
West Ridge 3, Greeneville 2
The Greeneville volleyball started strong on Monday night, but fell to West Ridge 3-2, 15-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20, 15-6.
West Greene 3, Northview Academy 0
The West Greene volleyball team continued its winning ways on Monday with a 3-0 win over Northview Academy 25-23, 25-19, 25-21.
Washburn 3, North Greene 2
The North Greene volleyball team fell to Washburn on Monday 3-2, 25-14, 14-25, 20-25, 25-15, 16-14.
Matti Phillips led North Greene with eight kills. Traylyn Southerland had six kills and three aces, Callie Dobson had four kills and Cadie McDevitt had four kills. Addi Dean had 15 digs and two aces, and Chloe Keys had four aces.
