Pioneers Move To 10th At St. Simons Intercollegiate

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — The Tusculum University women’s golf team moved up one spot on the leaderboard and is in 10^th place after 36 holes of the 2025 St. Simons Intercollegiate. The three-day, 54-hole tournament is being held at the par-72, 5,801-yard King and Prince Golf Club and hosted by Lincoln Memorial University.

The Pioneers shot and team aggregate score of 306, a 10-shot improvement from Sunday’s opening round.

Wingate maintains the lead in the team race as the second-ranked Bulldogs shot 285 on Monday and sit at 575, 16 shots ahead of West Florida (591). Flagler, the No. 4 ranked team in NCAA Division II, is in third place with 597. Carson-Newman is fourth with 600, followed by Lincoln Memorial (601), No. 19 Lander (602), No. 23 Eckerd (603), Lenoir-Rhyne (612), Union, Tenn. (615) and Tusculum to complete the top-10.

Mount Olive is 11^th with 626, followed by Trevecca Nazarene (629), North Greenville (632), USC Beaufort (632), Belmont Abbey (638), Texas A&M-Kingsville (644), UNC Pembroke (649) and Shorter (673).

The TU duo of Reagan Padilla and Maylei Hildenbrand have mirrored their respective scores for the first two rounds and are tied for 31^st place with 76-77=153. Delfin Filiz is tied for 52^nd with 157. Annabelle Mozingo followed Sunday’s opening 87 with a team-best 74 (+2) on Monday and is in 67^th place with 161. Lidya Atalay is 72^nd with 85-78=163 to round out the Tusculum scoring.

Flagler’s Sofia Terzoli has the 36-hole lead with a four-under par score of 69-71=140. She has a two-shot lead over the trio of Amely Bochaton (Wingate), Eve Neild (Lenoir-Rhyne) and Tabitha Hanley (Flagler).

The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.
