Kingsport 11 – Greeneville 5
For the third consecutive night, the Flyboys jumped out to a 2-0 lead after two innings of play, but they were not able to produce much more as they fell to the Kingsport Axmen 11-5. Both teams were able to put the ball in play as the Axmen picked up 14 hits to the Flyboys’ 13. Greeneville was led by Jace Patton’s two singles and a double, followed by Mycah Jordan’s double, single, and 2 runs batted in. Grant Hunter and Layne Akers each chipped in with two singles for the Flyboys. The stat of the night was that in the 3 hour and 38 minute game, there were 29 runners left on base (15 for Kingsport and 14 for Greeneville).
