Throughout the softball season, Extra Inning Softball has been recognizing has been recognizing athletes for their outstanding achievements.
This week, Greeneville’s Kyla Jobe was selected as the Extra Inning Softball National High School Player of the Week.
Jobe, Class of 2025, helped lead her team to a 5-0 record during the period. Through the five games she had a .765 batting average (13-for-17) and scored 14 runs. She belted five home runs and added two triples and three doubles as 10 of her 13 hits went for extra bases. Jobe also drove in 15 runs during the week and posted an .810 on-base percentage.
A three sport athlete, who also plays on the Greenville volleyball and basketball teams, has committed to the University of Tennessee. Greeneville wraps up the regular season this afternoon when they host Jefferson County at 5:30, before beginning tournament play at Claiborne High School on Friday.
