The Greeneville Lady Devils beat Elizabethton 7-2 in tennis action on Thursday. Emma Waddell, Emma Sauceman, Maggie Morelock, Kylie Scott, and Jorja Ward all picked up wins in their matches. Sauceman shut out the Cyclones’ Maylie Stout 8-0.
In doubles play, Waddell and Scott dropped their match to the Lady Cyclones 5-8, but Sauceman/Morelock and Abi Kate Moore/Brylee Catron won their matches 8-4 and 8-6, respectively.
The Lady Devils face Morristown West today before road matches at Morristown East on Thursday and Cherokee next Tuesday. The Lady Devils return home on Thursday, March 28, against Northview Academy.
Home matches begin at 4:00 PM at the Greene County Tennis Center at 1209 Hal Henard Road.
