JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. — Due to the threat of inclement weather early next week, the 26th annual Agnes McAmis Memorial Women’s Golf Invitational will be played this Sunday (Mar. 15) at The Crossings Golf Club in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
The 36-hole tournament, which was originally slated to be played on Monday and Tuesday, has been condensed to 36 holes on Sunday beginning at 8 a.m.
Joining the Pioneers at this year’s event are women’s golfers from: King University, Mars Hill University, Milligan University, Shorter University, Southern Wesleyan University, University of Virginia’s College at Wise and Young Harris College.
States represented include: Tennessee (Tusculum, King, Milligan), Georgia (Shorter, Young Harris), North Carolina (Mars Hill) and Virginia (UVA Wise).
Tusculum has won the McAmis Memorial nine times including: 1998, 1999, 2000, 2012, 2013, 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2024).
A Tusculum golfer has claimed McAmis medalist honors on five occasions including: Erin Bradbury (1998), Jillian Corum (2012), Ciara Rattana (2018), Jennifer Keim (2021) and Nilubol Panno (2022).
